I've tried most other versions too and each time I was forced to remove the nstall.msi from the installation folder of Office in order for the nstall.msi to launch but even after that it wouldn't boot. I've also tried to do the C2R.msi fix that Microsoft has published recently for Office but I've had no success. I've also tried other versions of Office 2013 and 2016 and 2016 is the only one to work properly. Office 2013 is not recognized by C2R even though the boot.ini file for 2013 is exactly the same as for 2016 and even after removing the 2013.msi installer from the installation folder C2R didn't boot. I have tried resetting the virus ccd in safe mode and had no success. I am running a 64 bit system but I've also tried running Office on a 32 bit system and it worked perfectly. I found out about this program in the Technet forums. It is said to be the best alternative for Office 2010 and Office 2013. It's supported until 2023. I have no intention of purchasing Office 2013 any time soon and even though it's paid I figured that the Office 2013 installation file was corrupted and I'd try this program. I was surprised at how easy it was to run. It installed all the dependencies required by Office 2016 and then the program ran. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing a few times but I've gotten the same problem every time. I'm going to get this one working as it's great for people that want Office 2016 but only need a subset of it. Thanks for the fast reply. I've got a good feeling about this. It's way better than what I've been able to do with the crappy alternatives I tried. I'll post again with the results. I've tried the fixes suggested in the Technet forums and it worked beautifully. I can't imagine why Microsoft hasn't released fixes for Office 2007, 2010 and 2013 yet. I've tried to contact their technical support but I never get a reply. I'm guessing that it's because the customer support for these products is run by low-level people that get their promotions on there and never take it seriously.
